It's brilliant from their point of view, but it is bad business from theirs. Having said that, he's a perfect fit here, but not necessarily there. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Amazing if true! What would we be looking to sell him for if he was our player? £2m/£3m? Awesome if we've pinched him on a pre agreed £100k! That's the benefit of loan deals if you have agreement to buy.
Be nice to sign more of these young stars that have potential. Drinkwater for 1million springs to mind. What's he worth now ? Kent, Armstrong and Isgrove are a few others I'd like to see on permanent deals.
Sort of player they need right now. Great for us if true, but can't see it, not at that price any rooerd. But do believe he'll be a full time Red by end of Jan...
Wigan fans not happy, but in fairness, most of them didn't rate him prior to him coming to us. Can't have it both ways. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Think we're getting carried away at £2/£3 million. He's playing really well but he isn't at that level yet. He could be with the way Hecky and Co are developing players though, which is why this would be an excellent signing full time.
Might have been a fee agreed as part of the original deal. They might have thought it was a fair price at the time but it looks way to cheap now. Hope it's true.
I'll believe it when it comes from an official source and not Twitter . I f*cking hate twitter. #TeamsLikeBarnsley
Just reading their feed. What a deluded set of fans they are. They think some sugar daddy chucking money at getting into the top flight makes them a big club, and now the teddy's out. Reality is they're probably now overachieving by being in the championship. All they've got to show for chucking money at it is a better ground and a slightly bigger fanbase, for now at least. Yup, you're right, Paul. http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/team/player-profile/sam-morsy/29 In fact, all our loanees are on season long loans, with the exception of Adam Armstrong. http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/team/player-profile/saidy-janko/21 http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/team/player-profile/adam-armstrong/32 http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/team/player-profile/ryan-kent/40 Although I can't prove it from the official site with regards to young Ryan!
Up until the last 15 years or so Wigan were a perennial lower league team with small attendances. They will eventually go the same way as Blackpool, Swindon, MK Dons etc.....
suppose it depends if they can recall him in Jan or not. If not id still like us to make the move perminant in jan so that were not fighting with other clubs for him in the summer
