Are you glad he hasn't got the same length contract with us (eliminating his wage demands)? I think on the whole he could do Morsy's job well, in our present set up. I'd have him in the squad.
Good player Pearson. Don't understand those who try and make out he was a poor player. The Johnson system made him look poor at times but on the whole he was good for us. Nothing that couldnt be replaced though as we saw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Scowen is better in that position, morsy is, brownhill was, yiadom probably is. Ben Pearson was utter tripe
"Poor bugger" could mean: 1. Me thinking he could do Morsy's job. 2. That he isn't in our squad. 3. That he's stuck with Preston. I suspect you think he's a poor bugger on all 3 counts. Except he won't be poor.
Very inconsistent was Ben. A player in there somewhere, but unfortunately he was nurtured to play like Jonathan Greening.
The crab only occasionally able to run anything other than sideways. An OK player not helped by Lee Johnson. Needs encouraging to make more of those lung bursting runs but I'm not sure Grayson is the man for that. I wouldn't want him back.
Lots of people rated him, I never did. But if he's getting 3.5 year contracts from Championship clubs, he must be summat like. Personally I prefer the players we have right now. If I was looking at ex Barnsley midfield players it would be Brownhill not Pearson.
I was a bit worried when he left, good player but we didn't miss him, just like we haven't missed Brownhill. Wouldnt swap any of them for Morsy at the moment. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I felt he was pretty average for us but you've got to consider that he was only just starting his professional career & has probably improved a fair bit since then. The Morsy we have is a lot better than the version of Pearson we had, I've no idea how good he is now
