In case anybody was in any doubt about how much of a stalker and a bully he is

I don't like the idea of a dislike facility anyway. I think I would only use it in the event of someone saying summat really sick and tasteless.

I prefer idea of a forum being to debate different things and explain why you would disagree with someone else's opinion rather than just showing your dislike?

How the hell have I ended up with 49 dislikes. I thought everybody agreed with every word I post.

 

Me too but he loves me really.

 

I can understand a dislike option. Maybe a disagree. But I can see it being used inappropriately.

Too many folk up are up backsides of each other or themselves to be used correctly.

Have a beer or 2 and enjoy life. Too much ***** about in life already without bickering on here.

I do include myself in that to be completely honest

 

We used to have a 'STFU' option but it was removed.

Does anyone actually care if someone clicks the "dislike" button on one of their posts?

I always looked upon the "like" and "dislike" functions as a way of judging people's feelings on an opinion/view, and couldn't imagine ever feeling offended that someone chose to "dislike" a post of mine...

Maybe it's just me though...

 

Where exactly is the problem here?

Someone posts a view, someone doesn't like it and pushes the dislike button. Canna see where anyone has overstepped the mark.

Please feel free to dislike my point of view. But be aware if anyone does I shall complain.

 

To be fair, I have just been ignoring him, it says way more about him than me.

Taken as a whole though, it definitely is bullying no matter what way you look at it. Around a year ago he started following me around the board and posting rubbish about me, then he pmed me some abusive messages which I referred to on here but didn't name him. Admin asked me if I wanted him banned but I said I would just ignore him. He continued following me around the board, this time never directly speaking to me but 'disliking' and sarcastically 'thanking' my posts and changing his signatures to refer to me (I think he wants people to think his current one is about me but we've definitely never met). He then posted about me again and Gally called him out on it so he disappeared for a few months. He came back last month and started to dislike all my posts again (including some from 6 months ago); not as a way of judging my posts but just to simply wind me up. Again, I have completely ignored him despite this being almost a year of stalking me. Now that ST has pointed out his behaviour publically he now claims that he is doing it to wind ST up. I'm not sure why he feels the need to involve me in winding up another poster but either way it is definite trolling, and, as it has been going on for a year or longer, bullying.

 

He isn't disliking my view though is he? Unless he dislikes ' ' when we concede a goal. Or dislikes that I say a club video is great, or that a little kid was good at the Tyke's target challenge, or that a linesman was slow to raise his flag during a game he never attended.

For pretty much a YEAR he has been following me around the board and either posting things against me, pming me, or disliking every one of my posts so that every time I refresh the board, morning or evening, I get notifications reminding me that he's still continuing his crusade. During this time I have completely ignored him. Not once have I said a word to him about it or complained to admin. Now that someone else has publically mentioned it I am now discussing it but it's not just about the dislikes, he has been chipping away at me for a year in various forms - completely unprovoked.

 

Which is fair enough, and I can imagine that level of attention is more frustrating and annoying than offensive(especially if you have to trawl through massive lists of dislikes to see if any of your posts have been quoted or replied to etc...

Do you mind me asking what the root cause of this infatuation(for want of a better word) is? If you know that is...

 

Ask for him banned and do us all a favour, pain in the arse he is

Spot on, it's funny in a sad kind of way but a bit tedious too.

I genuinely don't know. He used to be fine with me and pm'd me on here once offering a lift to an away match which I turned down as I didn't know him (glad I did now, I'd probably have ended up in a ditch somewhere). He then found me on facebook somehow and said he'd given up on here and we could keep in touch on there which I ignored. He pm'd me 5 or 6 times, twice including pictures of himself in fancy dress (which to be fair, wasn't completely random as he had talking about going on a fancy dress trip on here). I ignored the messages apart from replying 'bad times' to one of them. I then heard nothing from him for months until he came back on here and started following me around insulting me and saw that he had blocked me on facebook. I don't know if the two things are linked or what but it's all a bit weird whatever it is.

 

Jamdrop has more ****** than most of the "alpha males" on here.

You're thick and post offensive ****, when you do I dislike it. Same applies to plenty on here
