Re: all depends how much the transfer window affects us what are you expecting to break us in the transfer window. i notice you've said it a few times. what do you think is gonna happen?
possible but still improbable for me. we're massively punching above our weight right now. finishing the season top half would be unreal.
Well there is more chance than there was this time last year so it's certainly possible. I think it's a bit too hard for us this time though much more difficult league and although we can beat anyone there are plenty of teams that can beat us too. Be great if we could sneak in though
Maybe. Think top half would be amazing. Think we may lose a couple of key players, but sign a couple too. For me, if we are playing this kind of football & are in the safety zone in the Championship I am a happy man. I grew up in the Jim Iley days.
Me too and agree on the football. It's like the Hunter or Wilson days at the moment. I'm enjoying it whilst it lasts
If we are fortunate enough I would be happy to be a losing Semi-Finalist tbh. The last thing I would want would be to go up and get hammered every week in the Prem. Let's get back to being a solid top-half Championship side like we used to be.
I think the lads being facetious but I kind of agree with him.We sell ourselves short all the time , we are where we are on merit and have spent more time in this league than any other club . It drives me mad when people and players say we're ' just lucky to be here'. Aim high .
well as its you I am not really expecting anything to happen, which would see us ok.... but there are few rumours flying about on here that suggests we could lose Hourihane, Winnall, and the loans go back, as Morsy has already. Perhaps that's a bluff being called by Wigan, who knows. But one thing we do not need is a disruption in the squad.
It will be very difficult, but this could be the best chance we ever get. By the sounds of things we'll be keeping the team together this January but we will probably still need to add to it if we're to challenge. While we're only 4 points off the playoffs, Birmingham down in 13th are only 3 points behind us. There will be a lot of teams fancying themselves for a shot at the playoffs. Villa, Fulham and Derby all look to be decent sides capable of putting a good run together. That said, we still have Huddersfield, Leeds and Wednesday to play at home which will be good chances to pick up points against them. Everyone is capable of beating everyone so anything could happen (well not quite anything, we certainly won't be battling around the relegation zone).
