Only it wouldn't. It's hard to say because we live in a different football world. When this team has beaten Liverppol, Man U, Spurs and the like then maybe you will have a point. When they have been in the top 3 of the championship pretty much for an entire season then you may have a point. When they get promoted to the Premiership you may have a point. Until then you have an opinion that of course you are entitled to.
I think we agree that they are both good sides. But I genuinely believe that we have a great side at the moment. It can't all be down to the fantastic. Manager can it
Doubt it, particularly when we end up losing a load of players in this window. Doesn't matter what Cryne says, if a player gets his head turned by a club and wants to leave, he will leave.
We have lost to all the top 6, they all do seem to have a bit more than us. 4 Yorkshire clubs in the playoffs would be very interesting, I would like that. But who would we like to beat in the final, Leeds or Sheffield.
I'll be amazed if Hourihane is still here...other than that I can see there being interest in Winnall, Watkins, Roberts and Bree.
It is bloody close IMO. We have the same team spirit & urgency. It is also close to the Glavin / Hunter era team. Hard to make comparisons. This team is fitter & faster than both, but I'd be hard pressed, as great as Connor is to compare him to Ronnie Glavin. I was comparing Robbo to Mick McCarthy 10 mins before he made a double **** up! Ah well, it's bloody brilliant. We could end up in the top 6, but top half would be fine & keep playing this kind of football.
