Comparisons are too hard over different eras but haven't we been lucky to have seen such players as Ronnie Glavin Neil Redfearn and now the wonderful Conor Hourihane play for our Club?
Not yet! He's done it in L1, he's doing it in champ. When he fires to Prem and does it then he will be as good. Just prey he realises he is perfect for us and us perfect for him. The team is built around him. We all thought we'd lose Hammill last summer. Hope for similar with Conor.
Red fears is the most influential player we have ever had. Glavin is the best. Conor as much as I love him has a long way to go to match either.
CH has been exceptional for a year. Half of which was in league 1. To say he is twice as good as Redfearn is sheer stupidity.
Redfern's statistics for season 1997/98 (Premier League League 37 Appearances (0) as sub ranked 1 10 Goals ranked 1 FAC 6 (0) ranked 1= 2 goals ranked 1= FLC 3 (0) ranked 1= 2 goals ranked 1= Total 46 (0) ranked 1 14 goals ranked 1 In addition, Redfern scored goals with his head eg WHU (h), left foot eg Crystal Palace (a) and right foot eg Sheffield Wednesday (a). Hourihane is a good player, but Redfern was a great player.
Because. I was replying to someone who made an excellent point. To not accept that someone else's has made a better point than would. Be arrogant
