    I am using internet explorer as my browser, is there a better one than that. Speed and security being the important here.

    Anything and nothing is better than Internet Explorer :) For some reason I use Firefox but I think Chrome is actually much better.

    I stopped used IE years ago. Personally, I have Chrome, Firefox and Opera installed and use each for different things. Personal preference, but for speed (and security) use Chrome. FF has become a little 'chunky' of late (by which I mean it's getting slower).

    Explorer is probably the worst choice
    I use Firefox most of the time but that seems to be getting worse
    Chrome seems to work well for most things but google are worse than anyone for watching you

    Ive been impressed with Safari on Apple machines but I dont know how well it works on Windows, there are free windows versions but I've never tried one

    Firefox will not load Google maps for me without crashing, wherever I am, whichever computer I'm using, whichever network I'm connected to.

    And you can't get SkyGo on Chrome.... you have to use IE.

    Firefox works some of the time for me but crashes 50% of the time when I try and get directions - its started randomly hanging on other websites as well with the "script has stopped running" error message
