come on Andy kid, these episodes could never live up to that starter could they. and they have to make the effort to build up a bit because theres far too many episodes in a series anyway. what about spencer getting his guts slashed out by negan, and poor olivia getting shot in the head by that bird arat on negan's instructions. ohh, once again... spoiler alert
Just finished Vikings and really enjoyed it if you like historical aesthetic dramas. Characters seem a bit annoying in the first couple of episodes but stick with it and it's a really enjoyable watch
If you are into a bit of horror, The Exorcist serie that has just been on is great! Went into it with no real expectations, and if anything thought it would be a bollockless reimagining of the film, but I was so far off the mark its unbelievable...
One or two people have mentioned Black Mirror. It's not to everyone's taste, but it's scarily good in my opinion. A believable, dystopian future.
This was the best thing I saw last year with the brilliant Joe Pantoliano, "Brilliant But Cancelled" is right, it's up there with The Wire, PM me if you'd like to watch it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Brilliant-But-Cancelled-Streets-Region/dp/B000EUMMZ2/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1483646718&sr=1-1&keywords=EZ+Streets The first series of Bloodline with the equally great Ben Mendelsohn is also recommended.
this appealed to the geek in me lol. wife was working all day yesterday and on sleep at night so i watched all 10 episodes of first series. really enjoyed it cheers, this is the wifes kinda **** lol but must admit I like horror too. we dont watch many series together. we watched Damien which we both enjoyed and watched first episode of exorcist tonight. very promising, like you said not what we expected.
How could I forget the other best TV show on telly; Gomorrah, probably the most brilliant and brutal gangster series I've ever seen, both seasons are still available on Now TV if you have that. It's in Italian but even if you don't usually like subtitles it's still worth watching.
Love / Hate (Irish drugs trade) Underbelly (Australian drugs trade) Both brilliant if you like that kind of thing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The production qualities for Underbelly are extremely amateurish in comparison to the top UK and US series to such an extent that I wouldn't recommend them to a wider audience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Enjoyed it, but thought the ending was a bit lame. That's only problem with all these new TV shows. They're usually written with sequels in mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
