    I've no idea how much they cost to commission and complete, but I thought it was one of the best of its kind I've seen. Beauty in its simplicity and a great way to acknowledge one of their finest.

    If we ever wanted to consider a way of honouring any of our greats, we could do worse than look at something along similar lines. Cost depending obviously.

    Drop us a mail and I will send you all the info mate - the fans raised money and paid for it btw just like the signage on the ground and the Mortensen statue outside the ticket office - the Oystons didn't

    You should get your Trust onto it and raise the money - good to honour your club's players

    Was it Graham Ibbeson that did it mate? If so he's a Barnsley bloke, he did the Eric Morecambe & Dickie Bird ones among others

    It was done by Les Johnson who is a fellow of the royal British society for sculptors. I don't think Graham ibbeson is, although I have no idea f that actually makes one better than the other. It cost £100k to make

    It's part of Tyrones crusade against Blackpool fans who he thinks are a set of whining b'stards who should shut up because Oyston is actually a great bloke who has done a fantastic job at Blackpool. It's best to just ignore him.

    I've got a reyt idea,uproot Dickie Bird (legend) :) statue and put it behind Ponty,save 100 grand booooooooooooooom !
