Whilst I agree with you that Bree is good, there was no need to go down the Hemsy route by making another thread about the same subject we've already a thread on again like you did about Hammill, just so you can bash your fellow supporters that might disagree with you which is there right to.
Will you just leave it. If you've got a problem with me then PM me about it. Dont ruin the thread and take away from its point. Twice in 2 days you've started for no reason. I dont understand what your problem is. If you agree or disagree with points I've made regarding Bree then say so but dont tell me what you think my motives are for creating a new thread.
To be fair, thinking about it it's not that unrealistic. There's not much beyond Clyne & Walker at RB. 5 years past his best Glen Johnson got a call up recently
His confidence and the clubs confidence in him to get forward has been clear to see this season, last season it wasn`t IMO. Good luck to the lad, his turning down of Man utd at an early age may just workout for the better for him. Still hed a stinker on Setdi mindsthi.
I don't think you can excuse the behaviour. It makes them just as bad as him - turn on a fans favourite because they're a fans favourite.
Whenever HT says that he rates a certain player I always automatically start slating the player he rates. Even though said player might be good. Which automatically makes it HT's fault. Because I'm an idiot.
Given what I've seen of Bree, £4m seems a generous valuation. But if that is a serious offer, then let the bidding war commence. Nobody is going to want another John Stones slip through the grasp, then have to find £50m for him 2 years later. If he's out of contract soon, we'll not get anywhere near £4m in compo. So punt him out there, let the money bags scrap it out and get what we can. We should be looking at Southampton fees for our young uns. Villa would want him now, premier big uns will probably agree and fee now and wait. While i don't think we'll miss bree too much in the long term, we don't want him gone in january.
I said as much in the interesting thread. On current form and contract status, the former Conference and current Ghana international man is the most valuable asset at the club...
I'm struggling to think of a more talented right back produced by the club in all the years I've been a fan. Both Joyce & Eaden, for example, were excellent players and made huge contributions for us over a great many years. However, neither were as gifted as Bree in my opinion. Bree being as talented as he is shouldn't mean Yiadom has to attract undue & OTT criticism and vice versa.
Whereas I disagree. His positioning and defensive play leaves a lot to be desired. I like him, and he will improve, but I ain't gonna wet my knickers over him just because he's from our academy.
Great to hear about your Dad coming home on Wednesday, old mate. Just come back after a short break in Chester, to see our newborn Granddaughter. She's absolutely beautiful.
Thank you. He's been in a combination of Barnsley Hospital, a care home and Mount Vernon hospital since mid November. I can't tell you how much he's looking forward to getting back to his own home. At 91 he's struggling, especially when he gets asked to overlap, but I'm confident he'll get the care he needs now. I've got a step-granddaughter now ( if there is such a thing?), she's lovely too, and at 2 years old she's worked out not to call me "Opa" as she has a real "Opa", so she just calls me by my name!
