I can see us selling but surely not for 500 k championship survival worth more. And were not safe yet

Where does it say we've accepted £500,000? Just says they want to sign him for that, like Leeds did for £300,000 last season. I want us to sign Omar Bogle if we could pay £50,000 - doesn't mean we will

There are some clubs I wouldn't sell to and not only because I don't like them. As things stand we are four points behind Wednesday so to sell one of our key players to them in January for peanuts would be ridiculous in my opinion.

Why are you even talking of "Championship survival"? We have taken 16 points from our last 7 games, are the second leading scorers in the division and are just 4 points away from a play-off spot. I don't want any of our good players to leave because I think it would jeopardise our promotion chances. There is virtually no chance of our being relegated.

Sadly I agree. It's a no brainer really. Players settled in area etc and wouldn't need to move family. Got to be a consideration.

While I dont think we will get relegated, 'virtually no chance' is *way* off the mark.

17 points from the remaining 21 games is required to pretty much guarantee safety - a similar record to say that of Wigan/Blackburn.

We're in danger of believing our own hype. If we lose a few key players (Winnall, Hourihane, Roberts) suddenly things start to look different.

That being said, I think we'll keep hold of most of our team and finish a comfortable 10th - 14th.

It would be worse. £200,000 in 1986 is the equivalent of £528,634 today.

Did you see Keef's infamous collapse after the side was dismantled? We won five on the trot in December to put us on the verge of the play offs, we finished fourth bottom.
