It contradicts what Becky says that we would rather let their contracts run down, what,s changed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You seem to be saying that if CH goes we will be relegated. Otherwise you'll need to explain your "guarantee".
I agree, but regardless I think that not turning up just for that reason is completely wrong imo. You support your team through thick and thin, and don't just jump ship because things might go wrong
Well, this was my thought. Surely he'll want to be playing in the Premier League next season, so waiting until the end of the season, or going to a Prem club now if he could surely make more sense.
Not just that, surely if he's going there for around £1m or a low fee, other clubs must be thinking lets go a little higher and get him. With so much interest in the player, why the hell accept a low bid from Sheffield Wednesday? Similarly, why would other clubs not counter bid, unless they have already? All just seems totally bizarre.
It might do mate and I don't disagree with what you have said. What i'm trying to say mainly is who thought we would even be in this position 12 months ago? I'm going to give them a chance and see what's happening come the end of the window. Doesn't mean i'm right or a better fan, others are pissed off and rightly so and if they don't want to come to Oakwell then that is their call fair enough. I don't really mind Sam leaving to be honest, even to them as I don't think they will take to him as he isn't a flashy ex-prem player or foreign import.
Let's all remember too that both their old clubs (Sc***orpe & Plymouth) will probably have a sell on clause of their own thus leaving us with less money from these transfers!
The post at the top is interesting saying Conor would sign a new contract for us but we can't afford him 10k a week. That's gotta be BS because for 2 million of all the money we've made recently there is no way we'd find better value elsewhere to get him on a four year deal.
The comment on page 10 hurts http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/249573-connor-hourihane/?page=10 "Hope we get both as they seem to be heading it the right direction as players and would strengthen our squad also it does one other thing and probably rules out the current 8th placed team out of a playoff spot. "
This BFC mentality is exactly why I'm now a totally passive Barnsley fan and only go to the odd match. Nothing ever changes, if CH is off then get ready for yet another relegation fight. Absolutely pathetic to all involved with this debacle at jokewell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not a chance of that happening. CH is the best midfielder in this division. Folk are in dreamland thinking there's a better plan on the agenda I'm afraid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In your post above you said you go to the odd game so come on how do you know? Not saying he isn't the best midfielder in the league but not exactly best placed to say so or not.
