Brilliant song. Twenty minutes solid. Shame we probably won't hear it again. So proud to be a Barnsley fan tonight.
He came over slowly, but was one of the first nevertheless, clapped quite lengthily. No gestures. Walked off. Probably very keen not to make it seem like a farewell.
Came over and applauded. Didn't stay long and was probably first player off I refuse to read anything into it as he's likely to have been pissed off with result/performance
I couldn't quite make out the words from watching the stream (other than the woahhh) so I was actually get rather sick of 'that stupid song' as I thought it was one of Fulham's!
What was the chant. Sat in London after asking loads of reds nobody knew(I am 10 pints to the worse apologies)
We do play Tuesday so unless someone comes in with a offer we cannot refuse Monday I expect he will be involved Tuesday night as we need to have a decent cup run get some cash in
You often do when you get beat even when I played on a Sunday or Saturday morning at a terrible level I hated losing.
Thanks for that I am now 12 pints in to a great day. I realise that watching football is much more than the match. I wish we would have won but ah Ho! COME ONYOU REFS
Glad it's finally got sang. Was the most obvious chant we should've been singing for ages. Hope all you lads that went had a good day despite the result, brilliant effort nearly 2000 of you
Great day out despite the result, MOM today very close but going to give it to the fans awesome atmosphere today.
No its not heres to you Connor, it should be Beers to you as the lyrics are.... " Beers to you old amigo for all the good times, and heres to all the women that we've been through! " Ok forget about the womanising bit lol, but Connor has given us the good times on the pitch. Sadly its over now though and he is going to leave us before the end of the month. And when he does, lets wave him away and then forget about him, and hope our new crop of midfielders (or new signings/replacements) can eventually do the same job he did.
Yes it was sung for a good 20 minutes straight but wasn't about Hourihane... can't speak for the entire away end but everyone at the back around me was singing here's to you Norman Rimmington
