700,000 plus quite a few add ons It was his agent who took the photo and sent to a few mates and it got on twitter, BFC then threatened to pull out of the deal as a result, according to someone who knows his agent.
Timing shocking the classless ****. Just reiterates my views on agents, leeches to people with talent
That's a disgrace if true. I mean the agent, not the fee. What a pathetic amateurish way of doing business.
Thanks for posting this. Taken along with the club statement it makes you realise the club was backed into a corner and probably made the only decision they could in the circumstances. Still think it edges open the floodgates though.
I don't get the impression it was the friendliest of transfers and don't think for a second that the club has rolled over and had its belly ticked, thy massively pushed for the move - no one else was in for him.
Begs the question why didn't we transfer list him to generate more interest? Or at the very least let every club know a 20 goal a season was available.
My thoughts exactly. And I still dont think 700k represents good value for us. But again, we are where we are.
sammy the snake and his leech of an agent are no different, both showed a lack of respect.I really hope the slimy tw@t plays when they come to oakwell.
It is the transfer window. All players in the world are available for purchase. It would be like putting a sign saying "beer for sale" outside a pub.
It was a bit early to conclude that no-one else was in for him. We were less than half way through the transfer window. There was no need to sell him when we did, whichever way you look at it.
But it doesn't matter how much a petulant little boy kicks and screams. If he has signed a contract then let the little **** rot in the reserves.
Convinced that SWFC already had him tapped up before transfer window I think sometime after our game with them somehow let it be known to Sam that 18K/week was on the table. Prior to transfer window Winnall lets it be known that he wants to leave. Strangely SWFC then approach Barnsley about the possibility off signing him. The rest is history.
