Cycling is a growing sport/activity around these parts isn't it? With that in mind were the club to start selling a bfc branded cycling jacket of the stretchy lycra material would you buy one if the design was any good?

Probably not as I would want a high vis jacket rather than a red one.

Yes. I'd get a jersey for summer and a jacket for winter. Price, as well as design is important.

It's all down to quality. These shirts you get for events cost tuppence to make, but they'll ask 40 / 50 squids for them. I personally don't like to pay more the 50 for a jersey. Jackets cost a bit more, but not sure I'd get one. I have a couple of decent light ones and that's enough cos I rarely ride when it's wet.

I'd be inclined to buy a short sleeve summer jersey and a thicker long sleeve winter jersey (usually fleece lined).

    Here's the long sleeved version
    [IMG]

If the club sold them for 50 quid it's around a £20 profit for them (standard price before they negotiated a deal)

The main reason I asked was that I saw Huddersfield do them for around £63 and wondered whether it was a market we could make a bit of dish in

Definitely. I'm doing London to Paris for the British Legion again this year and I'd love to wear a jersey representing Barnsley on a couple of the days.
