    He's worth more than that and for some defensive experience he's worth more than that as well if Robbo goes. We are in a strong position with his contract too so don't have to be taken for a mug. If they double it and have add ons then it would be worth thinking about.

    if either of those clubs are in for them, we won't have a choice. In fact seeing as every other club above us and in our division barring 2 can outspend us we will struggle to hold onto anyone where we get an offer the club thinks is right.

    We do whilst they're under contract - for the remainder of this season anyway. Give us time to line replacements up.

    Being fair to the players, give them the option in the summer - assuming it suits us.

    I agree we should have an option but in reality we don't. Mark Roberts, 18 months left on his deal. Could what quadruple his wages and play at a higher level. Can we really stop him?!

    The Chinese are trying to hoover up any decent footballer at the moment so what's the betting they make him a tempting offer. With Toure ALLEGEDLY turning down £340,000 A WEEK (!!!!!!!!) Andy could easily multiply his Barnsley wages many times over going somewhere like that. And we would get unlimited egg fried rice and prawn crackers in compensation :)

    He's improved loads. You can tell they've had him working on his left foot just like they did Mawson. He played a brilliant ball with his left foot early in the second half to Bradshaw & it was inch perfect, completely different to the Angus who first joined us & looked unsure on his left side

    People on here slaTed him at first (donny Tyke inparticular) but he has come on leaps and bounds needs to stay and we need to get at leaSt 1 center back if robo leaves... arron Pierre?? We keep getting money for players time to spend abit of it now or we will drop like a stone
