Thought the effort he showed last night was outstanding, if the rest of the team had given the same amount as him we'd have won at a canter. Not everything he did come off but he kept going all night. We're lucky to have a player like him.
Could have had nightmares when he should have won it but put it wide right at the Ponte end. He had a good game better than most and now needs to do it regular in league games. Arguably his best performance since the JPT final which was also against a lower league club.
I know he's not had a massive impact this season, but I for one think we're a much better team with him in. One of the rare players that can get you out of your seat just by reputation alone.
Personally I don`t get too frustrated when he overelaborates and it doesn`t come off because when he tries it and it does work it`s worth the admission money alone. AND I agree his effort last night was beyond reproach.
I agree with you. At Fulham he had a good game also. His effort which hit the bar was truly outstanding. All heart and a bugg heart at that which us a bailed on Barnsley heart. People tend to forget that he turned down more dosh on offer from Johnsons crew to stay at Oakwell.
The drive forward he did at Fulham and the shot on the run which crashed against the bar was outstanding. Six inches lower and it would have been goal of the month, if not the season. And as people have said, his effort was superb, tracking back often to help out his mate Aidy. Love watching him, and so pleased he turned down what would have been big money to stay with us.
Hard to see how he is behind Kent at times this season. Hammill is ten times the player and is OURS so Kent should wait his turn, not the other way round. If Liverpool object then tough. Take him back.
Agree 100% with this above. Adam Hammill would be my choice every time ahead of Kent, who is fortunate to have had such a long run in the team.
Agreed with this, he has found it hard this year and not made the impact he had probably hoped but love his passion and he has magic in his boots
