Agreed, apart from one thing. Currently there are 79 members online, but 392 guests. That means that only about 17% of people viewing at the moment are actual signed up members. The others are a mixture of fans who've not registered, fans of other clubs, football people, press fishing for stories, and possibly Don Rowing. Some forums make it impossible to read threads if you're not a member. Maybe we should do that, at least during January? Or have a way of posting a private (i.e. members only) thread where stuff can be posted without alerting other clubs. Just a thought. Or just wait until February and see what happens.
I actually PMed the OP and we just chewed the fat about how footballs going to hell in a handcart. We didn't actually discuss his insider knowledge or where he acquired it. Come on nar we're not in an exclusive club, thats fairly ridiculous. It'd be a right pain having to sign in every time I wanted a read of the forum.
I think if someone's truly worried about word getting back to their source that they'd opened their gob on't web they wouldn't say owt to anyone.
I've not signed in for years, it's automatic. It was only a thought. The fact is that over 80% of people on here are not members. That stops people posting stuff and causes all these PM requests.
It's already been mentioned on twitter it was suppose to have been a good mate from uni. Robbo's missus has even commented "robbo hasnt talked to anyone also he has never been a owl fan clubs may be interested but up to now its all rubbish" Its like a bloody knitting circle on here some times.
