My dad sadly passed away last night suddenly and without any warning...... I saw him last night and we both went home our seperate ways. Sadly on the way he collapsed and died yards from his house. We were going to the match today as we are season ticket holders and have been since 96..... I know he would have wanted me to go but I just couldn't bring myself to sit next his empty chair for 90 minutes. Those 3 points were for you dad.......
I've got a fantastic wife and two kids to look after me.... I can't believe it's happened we travelled everywhere together I can't imagine going to oakwell without him.
Every sympathy for you - my dad passed away (years ago) suddenly - it still hurts that I never had the chance to say my goodbyes..............stay strong I'm sure your father would have wanted nothing but the best for you, and, I'm sure you'll stay strong
I know what you mean mate and it's devastating to hear of your sad news let alone to deal with it first hand ,but remember BFCs a community and whatever we can do to help we will .
I met him from work last night and had a couple of beers.... I just wish I knew they were the last ones...
Im so sorry, that's really heartbreaking. You both spent that last bit of time with each other. That's really important. Some people never get that chance. I'm sure as a Reds fan he'd have loved that display tonight. I'll have a beer for you both. Take care
Amen to that my friend, Mi dad has Vascular Demensure (can't spell it), Mi Mam has Alzimers as well. Chuffin nightmare.
Condolences lad, really sorry to hear that, and they say Football's only a game. Stay strong, you'll come through it.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, mate. It certainly puts transfer gossip and other such nonsense in perspective. Sincere condolences to you and your family. Kev
Sorry too hear that mate The Reds did him proud today , he will be watching up there with my old man and the rest of the REDS fans . My thoughts are with you
