I'm not one who demands a statement every other week but I think we need one right now. So far this window our ceo has gone, top scorer forced a move, two of our best players are set to join villa, we have brought one loan player in, we have not been linked to any permenent signings, our head coach is favourite for forest job he hasn't ruled himself out, angus, robo and josh Scowen are been linked with other clubs, now marley watkins has handed a transfer request in. What the **** is going on behind the scenes we have heard nothing about all this from the club we are been kept in the dark.
Completely agree, unfortunately no one in the club to do it!! Where is James Cryne? Surely if your dads ill you help out and cover for him act on his wishes etc If all this speculation happens and I hope we're all proved very wrong then season ticket sales will fall like a stone Takes or costs nothing to keep the loyal fan base up to date
Above Hecky, the club just seems rudderless. Looks like were just having a closing down sale. Which when you think that on the pitch things couldnt get any better...seems absolutley bonkers. Its not words we need...its actions.
Not sure who there is at the Club to issue a statement. Maurice Watkins has too many jobs to juggle. Not sure what Barry Taylor does. Patrick Cryne fighting his battle against cancer and a CEO gone for reasons we aren't privy to. I'm sure Hecky, the coaching staff, the back office staff and the players are just as bamboozled as we are.
Who's gunna do the statement? PCs not there, Maurice is probably catching up on his role with Rugby/Water Polo/Olympic Team/GB Tiddlywinks and Barry's in Morrisons looking for some more biscuits, he's had plenty of meetings this week. So who's Marley handed the request into? Club shop?
Barry Taylor? Or is he just an excuse for a free season ticket in the directors box. Speak BFC and stop leaving Hecky with zero answers.
The club won't respond to baseless speculation, only as something concrete happens. I'd suggest if it's that big of an issue to people then stop reading this and all other social media and wait for confirmation. Perpetuating unconfirmed rumours like the original poster does no good and you're just part of the problem.
Maybe it's time for cryne to pass the baton on now. I have the upmost respect for him they wouldn't be a club if it wasn't for him but surely now is the time. Surley we are a attractive club to someone were in the championship debt free. If he doesn't want to sell completely pass the baton to his son and let him hold the fort. But I'm very worried at the minute. We will be back in league one before you know it and it isn't easy to get back here.
I rang them up earlier, and all I could hear was tumbleweed blowing around. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I totally agree,as previously stated when the thingy saga to pigs started I said the media team are shi__e and I still have that stance on the matter. The media team are somewhere and after many rumblings from the fans on this board regarding thingy they released a statement at approximately 8pm which proves to me they monitor social media.
Totally agree. There is a reason we are being picked on by the journalists and agents, because we are soft as ****! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The media team didn't release a statement. Watkins released a statement. Do you really think the media team can go on the internet and start writing why the CEO left without permission from the board? They'd be sacked before the page had refreshed
There's probably pretty good reason for the club not to comment on why he left either personal or private reasons. Certainly doesn't want his or their laundry washing in public. Hecky obviously needed help, which is understandable. We've no idea if he's had any since then from inside the club whilst they find a replacement, which can't be easy a week before deadline day, as I'm guessing most CEO's aren't looking for a job.
