if you believe the tales on here and elsewhere all our players out of contract are now on their way out. If that is the case and there is any truth in any of this mess then BFC only have themselves to blame. We will never be privy to the dealings but it all seems such an unnecessary shambles that should have been sorted out months ago. Maybe in a few weeks we'll look back at this and wonder why we worried, as PC once said, "keep the faith", but it is trying everyone's patience to the limit right now. Our speculation is rampant but it's hard to know what else we can do.
It wouldn't be so bad if we were linked with a few decent laikers from leagues one and two or where ever on permenents to replace the want aways but notHong just loanees linked. With 8 days left of the window it will all be rush rush we will lose our top players maybe manager and end up with loanees and rushed signings.
It's a risky strategy to offer all your current players extended and more lucrative contracts at the start of a season where you've just been promoted. It's difficult to know with any certainty who will be able to make the step up.
Why not just get on with life and see what happens? Then have a tantrum and panic uncontrollably if necessary on February 1st.
