Clowns down the road had a 124 page thread about Conor... - We'll sign one of two replacements to fill the void and see us through till the end of the season. - We won't go down. - We more than likely won't go up. - Our scouts will be out and about from now till the end of the season. - We will have a rebuilding period in the summer in which we will bring in more young, hungry, quality players. - We will continue as a club that fights against the odds, the money men and the clubs who try and spend beyond their means. I for one wouldn't have it any other way. If you want a club that throws silly money/wages at players I suggest you go follow the piggies. I'd like to thank Conor for all he's done at the club, his goals and assists took us up and have 90% guaranteed survival. We don't know the exact figures but he's probably made us a return of at least 7/8 times what we bought him for. He's been the perfect captain and been nothing short of professional. We'll never forget Conor, he was probably one of the best players we've had in 10-15 years. However, as Hecky said, it's time for new heroes and the money Conor has made us will go a long way to finding them. I love this club. You Reds.
It took us 15-20 years to replace the last player so influential for us...that is my only concern. In that I mean Redders/Higgy.
Rubbish. The only sensible course of action now is to sulk and write posts consisting mainly of asterisks ****

We are on the right tracks, that's the pleasing thing. Still work to be done though, mainly our approach with contracts. And I wish we would grow some ******** once in a while. Seems like we have with Marley. Just a shame our dream of a play off push has taken a huge hit. But as you say, we probably won't go down, which was our main target anyway this season. Just disappointed we couldn't have given the play offs a proper go even if the odds were stacked against us, selling Conor is all but giving up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I totally agree and physco Hecky previously stated it was never the aim just to stay up.Having that mentality just won't do,we need to be aiming higher.
It's up to 126 now. They're not bitter or 'owt, waving their three hands about - completely not bothered about it. Daft Fritzls.
