Have us signing Mowatt on a 2 and half year deal.

    They're pretty accurate tbf

The theme from Leeds fans I've seen is that they all think he's a good player with ability and a lovely left peg, but on the downside he's 'not particularly quick or much of an athlete'. My Leeds fan mate says "Redfearn loves him". I presume in the footballing sense :)

Will be interesting to see if he signs how he looks once our fitness team get involved - they appear to be doing an excellent job with players in that regard.

Edit: On balance most Leeds fans seem to think they're making a mistake if they let him go.

They must see something in him. If he's a footballer then that'll do for starters.

We only need someone for corners & free kicks anyway.....

Agreed. Interesting now saying 2.5 year deal as Phil Hay was saying yesterday we wanted him in the summer on 3.

Funnily enough I was thinking the same thing. :) In fact Redders himself wasn't blessed with pace and although it's really important these days there's still examples of players who make it to a high level without it. Carrick I guess is one example.

He's obviously got a lovely left peg on him though.

Surely we should be giving Moncur game time especially for what he supposedly cost.

Obviously Heckingbottom doesn't think he's good enough.

My Leeds supporting "friends" say he's inconsistent.

What i have heard so far reminds me of Conor when he first came.

Would love to hear Redders thoughts.

Be a coup if we pull it off to be fair.

Their Twitter comments seem to suggest he enjoys a light ale or two. Physically not dissimilar to Dale Jennings. Fingers crossed we can get the best out of him.

Reckon we'll see Moncur a bit more. 2 options, either he's knuckling down and improving into a centre mid, or now we've only got 2 top strikers he'll get a chance as a number 10.

If Hecky can get his mind and work rate right he really good be as good as we all thought when we signed him. He's still a young lad, perhaps he's had a wake up call

The Leeds fans at work reckon he'll do well if he's given a stretch of games to get up to speed. Doesn't do it when he's in and out of the team. Similar sort of situation to Bradshaw really.

All about opinions I suppose, but I'm with you. I thought he was a nice player and always looked like he had a yard of space.
