This isn't an 'open letter' as it was posted on his private facebook page that specifically asks people at the top to not share things with others. (Not blaming you of course as you just found it on Tykes Mad, just mentioning that it wasn't intended to be an open letter.)

If he's put it on internet it's open. Didn't realise PC was on facebook, I'm gutted at that fact.

Someone saw it.on twitter and shared it to tykes talk on fb yesterday. I was going to mention it yesterday but didn't think it was right as I don't have p.c on facebook and dont think people who do should share his things if that's his wish. Good read though and shows conor is a true professional and a good guy. I also noticed conor thanked p.c in his statement leaving to villa. Nice to see. Love Crynes honesty with the fans still you wouldn't get this from the lady boys at swillsbourgh

Can't see anything anywhere about who Ars Longa or Vita Brevis currently play for.

But if they're the new personnel, let's give them a chance eh?

It's Latin for "Sean Mclare should a scored an Hat trick in first half against Hudders meaning it would have been a double figures scenario"

"live too long in the moment you get stuck in the past" Quite an interesting quote, Although I can see a counter to that, it can often be quite relevant.

I'm not sure how open and honest it is for the owner of the club to issue a statement in a private select Facebook page and specifically ask that all other Barnsley supporters are kept in the dark about it. Call me old fashioned but I think it's more open and honest to put it on the official site for all to see

I've got him on Facebook, all I did was send him a request and he accepted. Nonsense to say that his every communication should be an official statement, the man has seen and done a lot and wants to speak his mind from time to time.

It's mainly just his musings, sometimes with the occasional juicy bit. Very interesting to see what he has to say, obviously with his illness he's no put much on recently. If you feel left out sent him a request.

There is a difference between his musings (personal) and a statement with details of how and why our captain has left us.
