Some of you may remember around this time last year when I posted a picture of a pink nappy pram I made. Cheers I considered it for a while but the cost to make one is too high to make it worth it. I know it would be cheaper to buy things in bulk but by the time I'd bought the materials and spent time making it, it wouldn't be worth it.
Fair point. Do you make any other arty or crafty things? You can't have just created something like that without doing other things too. Are you Diane Louise Jordan?
I've made a couple of things as presents. This was a few years ago for my TA: Chocolate bouquet: These were this Christmas for work colleagues: Lindt trees: Obviously I've created a fair few displays and whatnot for my classes over the years too but it's mainly for presents that I like to do something a bit different.
You are more than welcome to make me one of those chocolate bouquets any time you feel like it. My teachers at school made displays too but it was hard to tell whether they'd made them or the primary kids
I wouldn't actually recommend them, they're a right bugger to transport! I had to make 3 for the TAs I had (two part time and one one-to-one) and I have no idea how I got them all to my classroom without dropping them. The trees are much easier and make nice centrepieces for dinner parties! I considered touting them, or giant ones, as centrepieces for weddings but I can't be bothered, it's more fun to make as a one off.
