    Well worth the risk. Butterfield's injury around the same time in the season we sold him was far worse from a long-term point of view and he's come back fine. Aaron Ramsey's break was in a completely different league to McGeechan's and he's also back and playing fine. Get him signed.

    £500,000 is nothing given what we've received in income this season. We'll only lose 3 months of football if we can get him fit for the start of next season. And I saw Phil Gridelet play for us so I know what I'm talking about.

    Go for it reds its gonna be the only way we could get him and it does fit into the plan. Sometimes it's best to speculate to accumulate.
