    Stefan Payne got more goals than him last season in the same league.

    If Payne had gone to league 2 and bagged 18 in half a season instead of the championship the same people would be saying lets get that Payne in.

    Imagine paying £1 million plus for Stefan Payne.

    The step up is massive we got Winnall for 150k you dont need to go spending a £1 million on a league 2 striker who may be no matter than Stefan Payne or someone like Kane Hemmings who would also bag for fun in league 2.

    I don't think [MENTION=55796]redarmychris[/MENTION] is the only person on here to mention that we aren't interested in Bogle. Pretty sure a few others said, a few months back, that the club didn't feel he could make the step up.

    No I posted I thought Isgrove was coming.

    I left for a week and decided to come back whats that got to do with news one BFC?

    Yesterday I said today we were signing a left back and forward from premier league clubs and once Hedges is announced they are both spot on.

    I also said we weren't signing Randall from liverpool who was heavily linked.

    That's actually a massively good point about Payne. I still don't think Kane Hemmings was given a fair crack at Oakwell by the way.

    Try reading my post again with the caveats in. I didnt say we should be buying him - I was making the point that if they think he is good enough, they shouldn't baulk at spending more money. We paid £600k for Bradshaw in the previous division, another £400k, if they think Bogle was good enough, should not be an issue if they think he's going to do the job. Comparisons with Payne are neither hear nor there. Some players can score for fun in one division but completely fail to make the step up.
