    Fact is, atmosphere flat as a pancake, performance is that of a dismantled squad. Very disappointing from an ambitious perspective, but at least we should be safe.

    totally agree

    and with the millions we have just brokered this is a total disgrace.... a decent striker would have been top of the list.... but in a few hours we will be left with a wafer thin and ineffective strike force... we had a good chance of the play offs but right now I cannot help feel that its all been thrown away . Top half at best and I am now not holding my breath for that either.

    But it's so negative.... not a case of criticising club but fact is some people seem to enjoy it when things go wrong. We're losing .... we're all doomed!!

    I just cannot get my head around the fact

    that we have the clout to grab a very decent striker... we have just taken in well over 20 million quid .... surely a couple of Million or so to get a good strike force woulda been well spent, and please stop this bloody loan nonsense to the extent we have taken it. Or are we saving it all till next season, and hope we can gel a team quick given the amount of contracts that will be out in the summer. But having said that the play offs are well in our grasp so why not invest and go for it.... the rewards are massive. So why are we shying away from taking a leap of faith.... its well beyond me TBH.
