    And we can now lay the playoffs idea to rest I really think moncur should be given a run in the team in the middle as he's our player not a loanee. I'm all for mowatt and James but one has a three match ban and the others on loan and not fit yet. Give moncur the next three games to see what he's made of or what was the point in buying him?

    What is this obsession with giving him a run?

    If Hecky picks him, fine by me, until then he doesn't figure as Hecky obviously sees nowt to convince him he's worth a start.

    Personally I don't think he will play again.

    Cos playing loanees is fine and dandy all the time isn't it?
    Hecky obviously saw summat in him to sign him in the summmer for 500k. Why would he be on the bench if he's never gunna get a chance though?
    Should've sold him in the window if that's the case, ferkin nonsensical keeping the lad!

    Cryne liked the look of him when we played them (Colchester) last season so he signed him, and Hecky didn't know what to do with him as he didn't fit into the system.

    Monetary wise maybe but definitely not with regards to holding onto our playing assets. After all, isn't that what this football larks all about? Getting the best playing assets we can and being as successful as we can with the opportunities presented to us, last I knew we weren't Barnsley bank we were Barnsley football club. Afterall, success on the pitch has a direct correlation to success off it Or am I missing summat??
