I like a lot of the debate on here around our team/players/whoever, when it comes to politics though I despair.

I always used to berate people for suggesting Barnsley as a town was full of prejudiced, little-Englander, simple-minded people. Then 68% of them voted leave and you've got posters on here shooting people down for wanting to protest against a fascist.

I don't bother defending our town against people who call it out for what it is anymore, because they're right.

Politics and politicians are just individuals trying to persuade us that 'their' policies are the best and try to persuade us to vote likewise . Its just the politicians opinions of how we should all live our lives not ours . Its a contradiction of terms because none of them can be totally right or wrong . Thankfully we live in a democratic society just like the US which means inevitably we are occasionally going to get leaders that we don't like .
