I don't think we have replaced Bree his attacking contribution is telling by its absence. Mowatt is a completely different player a number 10 more a replacement for Moncur...of course we have drawn games before and we will again. We won't get relegated. Today's result in isolation means nothing. The window was extremely poor for us we have some hard games coming up and it may not be until summer that we can regroup and move forwards there's no shame in that

I don't want to see us go in to administration butvi think we should have risked it and give conor and co what there wanted. I really do think that we would have gone up with in next 2 years and if it meant us failing but trying then so be it. Were going down what ever if not this it will defo be next

Hecky and his coaching staff are doing a relentless job, we would be worse of without them that is for sure. The problem is he is receiving no support from the so called board, having key players sold from under him and barely any suitable replacements brought in, plus contracts to certain players still not sorted out! January has been a disaster, and unfortunately these past 2 home games it has shown.
I am really cheesed off, not just with the club but football in general. And I am trying to muster up some enthusiasm for the remaining games, but it's proving difficult. I hope we kick on and win more than we lose but i am doubtful.

Mowatt's a bit further forward than that. He was Leeds's Player of the Year in 2014/15.

Absolutely mate you speak a lot of sense. I did however think Mowatt actually looked good alongside Scowen on Tuesday and it's clear that we see him as a potential Hourihane replacement. Clearly Jones isn't as good at going forward as Bree yet, but Bree was initially not particularly effective going forward but he has developed his game and hopefully our other full backs can do that

Ok we're definitely going down next season fine. Given you've got a crystal ball could you tell me who will win the Premier League next season so I can put a bet on it please?

Hardly! Just people who thought the game was bloody boring oh and those who 'dare' question our January transfer dealings!

In my view it was like watching paint dry. Certainly the worst match I've seen since our promotion back to where belong. However I have witnessed many such matches since my first match in 1950, and I don't think it will be my last DV.

You haven't given it time .
Keep lamenting about the time Connor, SW, were here but we've hardly played any games since they went and your talking about survival.
But I seem to remember you weren't altogether happy reading some of your posts when they were still here .
All I'm saying is chill out don't be so negative we've just had a fantastic thirteen months and it's far too early to judge it's over.

I'm seriously worried that someone so young can be so cynical. I've watched 40 + years at this club, and believe me there is far deeper depths to sink to than a few new players bedding in.

We've got some really good players at the club. We're probably not getting in the play offs, but I'd be amazed if we ended up anywhere near the bottom.

As each game goes by so does the disappointment of the transfer window. It's still raw, especially given our position at the start of January. Had we been sitting further down the table, it would have been easier to stomach.
As long as our current players continue giving 110% we will finish in a respectable position.
The club need to appoint a CEO sharpish, and we need to start laying the groundwork for next season regarding permanent signings. I'm sure our scouts are hard at work doing just that, but it helps when we don't offer peanuts and the obvious blackies eggs. And of course there are one or two contractual issues to sort out with current players.
One thing is for sure though, I will always look back on this season and think what if?

I like the look of Jones. I thought he was poor today but I'm sure he will develop well. I hope we sign him permanently. I think Yoadom coming back will improve standards in all the full back positions given his qualities.

    Onwards and upwards.
