Is this a new thing at Oakwell or have I just not been paying attention - noticed it for the first time on Saturday. Andy??
Theyd be great on a screen we could see. As Im sure are the tannoy announcements we can't hear. Sent by paper aeroplane
The screen is too small for replays unfortunately. If they could zoom in a touch maybe that would help?
Chuff me. The negativity in this thread. Personally, I love the replays, and I think the screen is big enough.
Where do you sit end of tunnel ? It's far too small to see anything other than the time remaining and score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Give over. I sit In linty, I have perfect eye sight, and I still have to squint to make anything out. It needs a few more screens on top of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like the new scoreboard but it is too small for replays. I sit in the east upper near the away end which is probably the best view for the scoreboard and the only reason I can just about make out whats happening is because I've just seen it on the pitch.
I can't even see the pre-match video of the goals from the past, it's so small. I can however recite the audio from it.
It's about as clear as watching your neighbors living room TV across the road. You can make out what it's suppose to be, but not clear enough to take in any useful detail. It's a reasonable 'scoreboard' but not fit for purpose as a video replay screen (As viewed from Row L in the Ponty).
I'm high up in the middle of the ponty, I have decent eye's, but it's a waste of time doing it, unless you can see it better from the East stand.
I appreciate the idea but it's just far too small. I have perfect eye sight and sit on halfway line in East Stand but can't really make it out. The biggest problem I find is that they are just so quick! By the time I've noticed we're getting a replay and then my eyes have adjusted to make out what is going on, it's over. Could do with showing them twice so people have time to notice it.
I thought you weren't allowed to show replays due to it potentially highlighting controversial events. Something similar happened during the world cup when a goal was replayed on the big screen revealing to the defending team that the goal was offside. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
When I heard we were getting a new scoreboard, I thought we would be getting something more than a glorified replacement, that would be more suited to say a Morecambe or Crewe.
