You called it a panic buy and gamble. 1 start, even more impressive in a struggling side and being the lone striker. I've seen plenty of "l told you so" posts from yourself, we'll revisit this in a few weeks when he's got a few more starts and goals under his belt.

 

Yes I know I did and I fully stand buy if we'd have spent £1 million on Bogle on the last day of the window it would have been a panic buy.

I dont know why you're pulling me up I was just putting some reasoning towards why we might not have fancied him.

I say I told you so when I'm right and people have given me abuse for my opinion.

With no service like our strikers received v Preston, Bogle would have scored exactly the same amount of goals. It's a complete non argument

Sam Winnall - 700k rising to well over a million, but they aren't going around saying he's cost well over a million. All depends what the add on's are, initially he's cost them £750,000.

Very very harsh to say he's been "way out of his depth" based on the few occasions he's played.

Adam Hamill has looked more out of his depth at this level, and he's spent much more time in the team.

Bradshaw and Armstrong hardly prolific at this level.

Roberts isn't asked to dribble down the wing.

Hecky asks Payne to help defend set pieces and he cant do it. He's cost us 2 goals at least.

You're sounding like hemsworth Tyke mate.

Lots of players make mistakes, it's all part of the learning process.

So Paynes cost us a few goals? Others will have too.

He's played part of 9 games in total. Hasn't started any of them, the fact that he got such a great reception when he came on against Rotherham suggests he was doing more good than bad.

Jesus christ all I said was he's looked way out of his depth at times.. which he has! Whats the problem?

If Hecky thought he was doing well he wouldn't be out on loan would he?

Can you honestly say you haven't noticed Payne is out of his depth when defending set pieces?

And costing us 2 goals in only 9 sub appearances is very poor.

Well agree to disagree. I like the lad. Think he's been unlucky to get injured when he did.

At that point he was doing well. I'd rather focus on his positive contribution to those games than two goals he was allegedly at fault for.

Not really. I've been to every one this season.

As I say, agree to disagree. I don't think he's been poor, just a tad unlucky.

Hopefully he'll get going at Shrewsbury and come back and hit the ground running.
