I attended the game earlier in the season when Reading came to Oakwell. Reading were easily the better side on that day. However the performance that day from our lads was very encouraging to say the least. During the transfer window I think its fair to say that the coming and goings did not help the team in any way, and had an effect on momentum. I think we have got through that quite well. So today we went to Readings ground got a valuable away point and a clean sheet too, and the reports coming in during the game on BBC final score were very impressive about us. They are one of the best sides in this division, so the result today, for me at least, was a satisfying result. Well done lads.
Agree with that DT. I didn't fancy us in this match, so very happy to be proved wrong. Great to see the clean sheet. If it 'clicks' again upfield then hopefully these well deserved points will become 3. Sounds like Matty James had a good game, and hopefully will keep improving.
Well it is not a good showing of the team's development. It's a good showing of how we can cope without quite a few of our more coveted players.
which shows how the team have developed and adapted and improved... is this a bit difficult for you ??
Re: which shows how the team have developed and adapted .....well we haven't improved have we, just by getting a point at Reading? Todays result shows that we got a point at Reading. Nothing else. It doesn't show that we have developed adapted or improved. Even though a point at Reading is an excellent result.
