Season ticket holders can purchase a maximum of two discounted tickets at £10 until 5pm on Friday 24th February.
Said this before, with the way Hudds are going this game could, and should be a sell out!! Especially if we beat Brighton, will the north side of the West need to be opened?
Should be a 20,000 crowd with a decent result against Brighton. We are averaging 11,736 home supporters - 5,500 away supporters so that's over 17k.
We ought to get 20,000 for both of these games. How much more convincing do people need that these are special times!
We sold 16,500 season tickets for the Premier season. If we could get all those absentees back, we'd average 20,000.
Should be our biggest crowd of the season if we get a win against Brighton not sure Huddersfield will fill the away end but think they will bring 4k+
The sometimes 'bonkers' nature of reciprocol pricing will ensure the Brighton match will have little increased attendance. I do believe it's cat B, but cannot see them fetching more than a thousand (not great away travellers oop north this season despite their position) Crazy pricing considering everything.
I work in Huddersfield and a number of their fans are moaning at the ticket prices (£30) saying they aren't attending so not sure if they will sell out. Don't think they've ever sold out the North stand since it was rebuilt, I'd have to check but reckon the most they've brought is around 4.5k and that was probably for the L1 play off semi-final back in 2006. With regards to their home attendances, they've really cheap season tickets, do a number of 'cheap' offers and also give a lot of tickets away - I guess it also helps that they are having a great season!
If they cannot sell out for a play off semi then not sure they are going to sell 5500 for a league game even though they are fighting for promotion to the premier league We took more to Wednesday then they did Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes they average 20k at home but the season tickets are dirt cheap. I pay £300 for mine at oakwell and I think that's resnoble compared to leeds or Wednesday. Huddersfields season tickets were adults £159 u18s £79 and kids even less. Before they reduced them so much their gates were similar to ours.
Fair point, they've had an offer this season and one a few years ago for the centenary but look at their attendances over recent years, even in the division below (averaging 13k-14k when we were averaging 9k) when their ST's were at normal prices which is over £100 more than ours. http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/hudt.htm Hudders is a much bigger place but their fanbase had a huge increase after they did the £100 ST in 08/09 - 37% increase and fans have remained since. We did take more to Wembley than their last visit though.
Last season they averaged 12600 we have averaged more than that this season. Your right though the st offers have helped boost attendance in 08 they were averaging 9k in league 1. Next season when prices go back up be intrest ing to see how many renew
