If we still had the likes of Mawson Winnall and Bree , well Winnall is a Judas, Mawson we've done alreyt all season without hime and as much as a prospect as Bree was, he has hardly been a regular. what about Connor ?
It's a weird position to be in this. I'm keeping an eye on both ends of table at same time. I don't want to lose sight of the playoffs, even if it is a long shot, but I'm still wishing bad on the bottom half a dozen teams. Trouble is they all have to play each other so I suppose I'm hoping for lots of draws. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Don't think we'll do it but our form wouldn't have to be exceptional to do it. However I think we'll get 20-25 points and 65+ points is highly respectable on our first season back in the league
That's very optimistic. And still a point short of what you said in your opening post as to what we needed. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I admire your optimism, but personally think play offs are a long shot. We are proving difficult to beat, but obviously our goals have dried up significantly since losing Conor and Snakeall.
Focus is on bulding a squad to compete in Championship next season hopefully out of contract players will be retained next season giving Hecky continuity and stability to progress.
One step too far too quickly..for the club....the clue was in january.....trouble is the momentum that weve experienced this year wont be there next season...the biggest test awaits next season.when the new build begins and the lower league imports that will come in need time to gel...from now to the end of this season its just about finishing mid table no pressure no busting a gut the lads enjoying their football .....3 more wins and i wouldnt be surprised to see a few more from the under 23s getting blooded in, ready for next term
I don't think a win next Saturday is out of the question in the slightest. When Derby have been bad this season, they've been horrific. Sent from space using satellites and things
