The Radio Sheffield commentator at our game has had a mare today

Here is a selection of things he got wrong;

-"Rochdale open the scoring at Spotland." They didn't, Sheff U did.
-"Tom Ince, whose Dad played for and managed Derby." He didn't.
-"It's with Gethin James for Barnsley." It wasn't.
-"It's now Rochdale 3 Bury 3." It wasn't.
-"Here's Tom Jones now... erm I mean Tom Ince. That'd be unusual if Tom Jones was on the pitch." Please don't.
-"Russell now into the box. Scowen brings him down and the referee blows!" ****, have we conceded a pen? "It's a free kick in a dangerous position." Oh.
-"And an effort NOOOWWWWW" *spaffs kecks* "No, sorry, actually that was quite a way wide from Bradshaw."

 

It was Mike Marney, He really is a poor commentator. He was at Cardiff and just as bad then.

 

He was dog ****, exactly as the last match he commentated on.

He's got the kind of non-accented voice that makes him sound like most commentators but unfortunately he comes out with some garb.

Another was "There was 2 minutes and 24 seconds between the goals. That's 144 seconds, some quick maths there." Cheers Mike.

 

He's by far the worst on radio Sheffield. Shows no passion, no charisma and gets his facts wrong all the time
