Some of our lot beggar belief. Went to our seats today to find someone sat in them. Told them they were ours, and we're virtually asked "so what" Usual thing, all pissed up and too many of them to properly argue with. We found some others nearby and watched as the stewards came to where we'd just been. Same bloke had been asked to sit down and was kicking off with fans behind him. They didn't even come back after half time. Worst thing for me is the age of some of these "fans", and the fact that I was leading my mate who is a blind supporter. This particular guy looked to be about 50 years old. What's up with people? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Happened at quite a few of the away games this season. Blackpool in the cup was troublesome with the size of that following with a lot of supporters moving into different seats. Like you, I don't get the bully boy attitude and the intimidation when they're taken to task.
I don't think it's a secret that we have a lot of total bellends following our club. I feel sorry for the great fans we do have who end up tarred with the same brush.
Yup. It's meant to be summat we do for enjoyment on a weekend. Some folk should leave the beer alone if it makes them so anti social, or at least stay in the pub and give the football a miss. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Some absolute lovely people about today. As you say, as many in their 50s as teenagers. Folk just don't know how to behave in public.
Exactly why I'm looking forward to QPR so much... precisely none of the dickheads will be there and it's nowhere near a sellout so I can go to the back and stand up without annoying anyone
Every club have their ******** fans and it's safe to say, we have a lot of them that turn out away from home.
This is the reason I don't generally go to away matches. I have this season been to Huddersfield where I was in their executive area with a friend; and at Leeds where I sat with a Leeds friend. Some of our away following border on being as bad as Millwall 'fans'.
Well I've been to them all, and I've not seen or heard this kind of thing at any of the far flung ones. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Absolutely bang on, always been like this and always will be like this. Massive trouble with a few hundred dickheads back in March 2015 at Oldham, then 3 days later on the Tuesday night at Orient... they were nowhere to be seen. Be exactly the same at QPR. Not necessarily the loudest, but the best atmospheres are always down south because the people who go actually want to support the team.
Can remember the Oldham game. Some of our lot broke chairs and spat on our own fans. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
