So we can only give The Fowls 5,200 tickets. We could have given them 8,000. A lot of money to miss out on for a company which lost £1m last year.
You clearly know all the ins and outs of BFC and you could clearly do a better job of running it. You're getting so obnoxious with this ****, lighten up for **** sake.
I never said that. We as fans will never know the reasons behind a decision and rightly so. Do you honestly think the club is choosing to lose money for no reason? You act as though there is no reason for it and the decision makers at the club are sat there in a circle saying "It'll be ******* hilarious if we lose all this money. That'll really piss Conan off."
I don't often agree with what Conan posts but I think he does criticise the things that Barnsley fc do wrong and there are a lot of stuff. For how well we have done on the pitch this season we are absolute fecking lousy off it. It shouldn't be ignored just because we have had a good season. if we were better off field we could have a much better team.
Highly unlikely. But also as likely that the loss was a planned one. In that I mean we KNOW we will lose money due to having to fund a Grade 2 Academy.
You've clearly done a breakeven analysis on this site could you please furnish us with the costings and breakeven point
Conan made nothing but valid points so he shouldn't be knocked for them. We don't know what the club are choosing to do because silence is golden as they say. Maybe they will release a statement, we will get told by an SLO, or the official programme will have a piece about it soon enough. Or maybe we will be kept in the dark as to what if anything we are doing to get back the 13% of our capacity we've lost that if we had we'd have lost nothing like close to a million pounds. Plenty of times this season we could have properly sold out the full north stand and half the west stand like when we've fleeced away fans this way in the past. It's very important we get back these lost seats ASAP.
It's only. Valid if we know the costings Now we all know that Conan won't have just posted anything without thinking it through. So the solution. Is to just wait. Fora few mins till he posts the findings of his analysis
So are you saying, to your mind it will never be cost effective to restore the ground to it's full capacity so it never should be done? Is that what you are saying? Where do you expect me to find details of costs by the way?
So what would you do if it cost, let's say £100,00? But the cost would increase 25% per annum if left.
Some moaned when we gave them all the away end and part of west stand on the grounds that it was like a home game for them. Others don't think we're screwing enough money out of them. Club can't win really. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
If we're losing £1m in a successful season I'd say they only have one option. BTW - you're always going to have people with differing opinions on practically everything a club does. Very few things will have unanimous approval. That's what happens when people are emotionally invested. When people stop being emotionally invested is when clubs have a problem.
Like as already been said, are the club choosing to throw away the chance of extra revenue? Or are there other reasons? Maybe SYP? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
