Making mistakes, or is the vast gulf in finances between us and other clubs starting to tell?

Also, Alex Neil has probably had millions to spend and has been sacked. He'd be coming to Barnsley and having a portion of that amount to spend.

Stick with Hecky. He's been brilliant.

What if the new lads instantly gel and Hecky gets us promoted ?

Fingers crossed, what you are saying here happens.

But can you see my point here.
A huge burden thrown on the manager to perform.
And if he does fail, like others have failed, then everyone will be focusing on the manager.
What I'm saying, and I have been saying this for a while now, is that fans should be looking elsewhere.
    Can't afford £5000 - but even tho I don't use betting shops I'd put £10 at 20/1.

    Lest we forget..........
We've been here before - January Transfer Window - near the top of the league - best midfield in the Championship then plummeted like a stone.
    Vaz Te given away
Drinkwater sold by Man U for just £1 million
    Butterfield out injured

Season after we were bottom 6 and that trend lasted year in year out until we were eventually relegated
