Hello to all, new member here, be gentle..... SSW & the fowls are the next to Oakwell, he's not had the best of starts for them, not got enough goals, Carlos is starting to feel the pressure (good!) Will Sam start, or come off the bench, i'm sure it will be one of them, he has to feature at some stage. Question is, what sort of reception will the fans give him?? For me he was a moody player, could be infuriating, but we miss his goals, i was there Saturday at Norwich & Sam would have put one of those chances away at least. We still need to replace him, he went for 5 times his salary, all forgivable if it wasn't the fowls...... I won't abuse him, but he also won't get hero status from me, his goals are what i miss, not the bloke....
I'm not for abusing ex players or opposition players in general, at least until we're safely in front! Seriously though, efforts better spent on getting behind our own lads. He will get some stick from our fans though, that's nailed on if he plays. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
He will get justified dogs abuse and will get a start with their main man out injured, Fletcher crap and Hooper not back until after the international break.
Winnall is a lovely person but you can't ignore what he did for us and deserves to be playing for a top six side.
I'm going to ******* BOOOOOOOOOOO him. Would I have gone to Wednesday for four times my salary? Yup. Would I have done whatever I had to do to engineer that move? Yup. Still - football, innit? Irrational and childish. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
That's not the point. Hourihane left for many times his salary as well but would get a good hand the next time he comes back to Oakwell. It's the part he played in ruining our season, that he didn't get on with the fans and most importantly of all that a photo of him signing for them came out on the day Mr Barnsley was getting a deserved send off.
I'll ignore him. Because indifference will bother him more than abuse. Especially seeing as he'll slot home a 96th minute winner.
Idea 1 We could shower him in Monopoly money - a bit like the Barca fans did with Luis Figo when he moved from them to Real Madrid. Idea 2 (To the tune of 'I Wanna Go Home') He's one goal in 12 He's one goal in 12 Sammy Winnall He's one goal in 12
He was a good goalscorer for us and I don't mind anyone bettering their self but to let his agent leak pictures of him signing for Wednesday on the day of rimmos funeral left a bitter taste. came across as abit of a ****** as a person though booting the ball into the esl, running the length of the pitch to have a go at team mates, slow walking when been subbed and we was one down.... he will get abuse and rightly so.
He gave us good service in two divisions and was instrumental in our promotion and jpt wins. He moved on for more money like many other good players. Can't see the difference in him moving on and Hourihaine moving on. The Connor deal took longer to negotiate but you're not telling me he wouldn't have gone 2 weeks earlier if the deal could have been done. The Wednesday thing doesn't bother me either. They're just another football team. I'll not be booing him.
He wanted out no matter what, F..k him. To THEM. Rimmos funeral and the timeing Fecking boooooooooo from me. No remorse.
He's a lovely person. Kissed the black arm band for Rimmo. Signed for SWFC on the day of Rimmo's funeral. He's a lovely person.
I'll boo him. You should not join a clubs rivals in my opinion. If you do so you make the decision & choose to completely ruin your reputation with that club & with it expect to get loads of abuse. Sorry if that's harsh but that's the way it is. Him & his agent knew what they were doing & he was more than happy to leave.
I'd like to say I'll ignore him but the emotion of the match day will probably take over and I'll give him some abuse. If he didn't join Wednesday and leak the pictures then I probably would've clapped him on his return but he didn't did he
