Jack if that question is directed to me then yes I do. Id rather the innocent victims of his actions were seen to first. You must admit his actions were not of a civilised nature.
He got his wish to be a martyr but had he survived he would have had to stand trial. As for treating him before others I cannot answer that as i was not there.
Jack I really could not give a hoot about the scumbag being a martyr. I'm just glad he is a dead one. Obviously I was not there either but I sincerely hope he was at the back of the queue for treatment. The whole thing is sad and sickening.
yeah, 5 paramedics around him trying to save his life and he died anyway, them 5 paramedics could have been saving one of the other people who where innocent
So Izzadeen still in prison. Passport found (as usual). No cctv footage yet and I think on the same date as the Brussells attack last year? Hmm something funny about that eh!
Perhaps keeping him alive would have helped the police to identify who else might have been involved and prevented further atrocities. It would at least have delayed his access to all those virgins he was expecting
The others were all being treated too and there are many reasons why you would want to keep him alive apart from to stop him being a martyr. So that the families of the victims get justice so that the authorities can find out why he did it (apart from the obvious assumed reason), who else was involved, what else was planned etc. Oh and also because a police officer has taken a life something which will play on his or her conscience
Just had. A text of a mate in Sas in London responding to my are you OK I'm fine it's just been a busy afternoon We had to try and keep him alive, we needs to integrate him torture him and find out as much as he knew about the infrastructure these ******** have
Muslim activisit? Thats a very polite term for what he is. Apart from the public forums where he expressed his views on wiping out law enforcement and creating an islamic state he also had membership to organisations that are banned due to their links with islamic fundementalism and terrorism and he was a known fund raiser. He has spent countless time in prison for his actions. His most recent stretch is in relation to getting caught on false documents attempting to travel to the middle east. Another extremist from the north london rats nest that is Finsbury Park.
That's how Brooks/Izzadean was described by Channel 4, not me. I don't know the man, never heard of him until then. Having since become more informed about him, he seems another Choudry or Hamza. A hate preacher. But regardless, Sky and others have since said he's still in jail so can't have been him. If **** nuts are intent on slaying people in such manners, I don't see that there's much can be done to prevent it. The far right will have you believe that by removing all Muslims you'll stand a better chance. But then, I live in a city with a huge Muslim population and I've never seen anything out of the ordinary. Which leads me to believe, as always, that these aren't Muslims. These are extremists. Like the far right **** nut who bludgeoned the MP Jo Cox to death last year. It is sad what happens, I feel for those caught in the crossfire.
Whilst I sympathise completely with the victims and their families, approximately 5 people are killed everyday on our roads yet most people "chuckle" about speeding and watch TV programs and Youtube videos of cars smashing into things etc - for a laugh. What this incident does illustrate is what damage motor vehicles can do (in this case deliberately) if not driven carefully and responsibly. I think the news coverage of this incident is massively out of proportion to the event. What was it that Maggie said? "Deny them the oxygen of publicity" this is one of the few cases where I actually agree with her. The people who support this attack will be revelling in it.
Our Media ought to take a long hard look at themselves if thats how they describe murdering terrorists Id go with murdering scum bag - he has as much to do with mainstream Islam as that Norwegian racist who murdered those children last year has with mainstream Christianity
No victim was left untreated at the expense of the attacker; it just doesn't work like that. First responders on that particular site went to treat the policeman first, before colleagues dealt with the attacker. He's not a martyr; just a dead coward, currently turning like a spit-roast in whichever particular level of hell is reserved for lovely people like him. However, as a civilised society, it is our fundamental duty to try and preserve life - it's one of the key things that sets us aside from those barbaric *****. There's also the issue of the invaluable intel that could have been extracted had he been kept alive.
Two year 7 lads who come in the library to read the newspapers every day were looking at a picture of him surrounded by paramedics. One of them asked the other 'why are they trying to save his life?' and I instantly thought 'to question him' but the other lad replied straight away with 'because everyone has human rights'. As others have said in this thread, we are a civilised society and he should have been brought to trial had he lived, murdering criminals isn't what we do here.
