I fail to see you link here your title is nobody would be interested in buying bfc. Then you post a link to a billionaire interested in buying pompey. Portsmouth is a city club getting 16k+ in league 2 they have been in that league for a few seasons. Their potential is bigger than us, Huddersfield, Rotherham, Brentford, reading and many clubs in the championship. No comparison to someone buying us or pompey.
Wow. This is true negativity. So you honestly don't think a club two divisions higher, with a bigger stadium and better balance sheet is anywhere near as appealing as a fourth division club? How little you think of your own club.
Its not how little I think of my club it's the fact pompey are a bigger club than alot of championship clubs. And yes they are league 2 but this time next year we could be swapping leagues if you believe some of the doom mongers on here. If pompey go up, next season they will season they will be watched bu 16k home fans each game we got less than that in our play off semi. I can see why a billionaire would be interested in pompey over alot of teams higher up.
Their stadium holds 20,000. It wasn't always full in the Premiership. I think you're over estimating how big they are and/or underestimating your own club.
We would be more attractive a club if we were pushing for the top 6 like we were before February. If you want to sell the club surely you need to make it as attractive as possible? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pompey are not a bigger club they couldn't sell out in the Prem with a ground capacity of only 2OK there's not much difference in us and them other than us being Championship at the moment
"He's heavily committed into community charitable causes back in the USA. So, he ticks a lot of boxes and has gone over a lot of hurdles to get to this point." So Portsmouth FC are a charitable cause then?
Some people on here cannot wait to bring bfc down and big other clubs up. Defeatist, negative attitude masquerading as realism.
I agree it's in the South. Not sure what that's got to do with owt as all the biggest clubs are in the North. Edit - population of the Barnsley Borough - 239,000, population of Portsmouth 205,400.
No one will invest in this club unfortunately unless they are local . This area is about to gallop into the biggest economic disaster. It's seen in generations
i take it you are on about brexit? if you think this will impact this area more than the wholesale closure of our pits, steelworks and foundries then you live in cloud cuckoo land
