Agree, I hope someone cripples him and he's out of football for a long time! Disgraceful behaviour inciting the home fans!
Totally agree. What a classless, disrespectful child he is. To goad hard working people who parted with their money to make him a millionnaire over the past 3 years is disgraceful. I wouldn't even have minded had he done that in front of the Wednesday fans but to run across to ours and do that is unforgiveable. Also, I didn't realise until I've got home that Angus was booked for 'excessive celebration'. How the hell Winnall wasn't for that is beyond me. I hope the FA fine him - hit him in the bank balance seeing as it's rhe only place he seems to care about.
He was laughing and chatting to him before the second half started, Yiadom when he went off and plenty of others at full time. I get they are former team mates but in view of 13,000 of your own fans it's not the time or place to do the old pals act with someone fans of your current employers have so much hatred for. Our team treated him with far too much respect. No stiff challenges bruising him up today.
Isn't it wonderful to read posts about how Winnall needs to be crippled etc.? Same bloke being worshipped by many on here not so long ago. It's ok for the crowd to be abusive to him, rather than appreciate his efforts for us, is it not? But not ok for him to react to said abuse. All Winnall did today was demonstrate that he is, in character, like those morons who chose to abuse him upon his return. I reckon that decent right minded thinking people look upon this Winnall sideshow with a certain amusement. We not only sold him. Davies presented him with a gift today. Aren't we nicer than this thread suggests?
He's a 'professional' footballer, this is his job. You don't see anyone in any other profession acting the way he did, regardless of how some consumers may react. We don't owe him anything. We paid him thousands during his time here and he forced a move away when he learned his could earn thousands more at a loca rival.
Well said Toby. There are some right maungy barstards on here. If you are giving it, then you should surely take it when it is returned. If you are incited by his actions then there is something wrong with you.
Showed no class whatsoever. I'm not going to go over the top and say I hate him or he should die or whatever other bile some will say. But as a professional, he should be able to stand the flack he was getting and act with more respect than he did. I've never understood why ex players don't celebrate goals, but he went to the complete other extreme. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Celebrate your goal with your own fans instead of running half the length of the pitch to goad the fans of the club that improved you enough to set you up financially for the rest of your life.
Well you might think that if you pay money to go to an event, then that gives you a licence to behave in a different way to the person who's appearing on the pitch. I don't. Do you think that your average McDonald's employee should put up with someone abusing them whilst they are serving you? Perhaps you do.
It was always bound to happen, especially after having a large Peppa Pig thrown at him! I couldn't give a **** abart him anymore. Although I have to say..I wish we still had him.
Celebrate your goal with your own fans, as long as those who were your fans treat you with sufficient respect. If they choose to abuse you, then go ahead and behave like them.
Take it on the chin, Stop whining on... You can't give **** out, then cry like little girls when you get some back.. Man up ffs
His actions have ensured he gets an even rougher reception next time around. He's managed to disrespect the entire fanbase, not just the ones who were giving him some verbal.
