    Fletcher looks a complete forward to me. Pace strength and goalscoring ability. His stats miss out goals in the play offs/JPT for us which take him to about 1 in 2. One of the few players I can think of that if there is money left from Barry's biscuit fund we should invest in. Brownhill and Isgrove would depend what wages. They wanted though I know Brownhill is within our range. Morsy showed what motivates him by staying at Wigan. Good player but no ambition so I'd steer clear.

    You're funny James. You don't like being wrong do you? my £350k estimate was purely based on the fact united academy costs about £4m to run. Ours costs about £1m to run.

    How did you work out we would get more than the £1m united got for Fletcher?

    We could have let his contract run down and gone to a tribunal. If he had played 40 plus games we would have got way more than £250k. Due to him being home grown and under 24.

    I'm not questioning your research but that payroll seems odd . I tell you what I'd be asking questions if I was Winston Reid or club captain Mark Noble . I thought Winston Reid had turned Arsenal down for a new super duper deal at West Ham . Andy Carroll only plays 15 games a season so that's 300k a match . Ker ching !
