For God's sake, one up front is not necessarily a negative formation. Why people think this is beyond me Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
nothing to play for..... really. we are still able to drop into the relegation zone. I so very much doubt it BUT we need to seal our safety sooner than later. Also the players who want a contract and the ones eying a move should be using this end of the season to showcase themselves too.
Not many options up front. Bradshaw and Armstrong don't work together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't have time to read every ******* post. I have a job and a life. Just seems abit negitivite against a warnock side who will come for a point. Someone said the other day if winnall stayed he would have scored 20 goals this season well no he wouldn't been played as a lone striker and bradshaw watkins and armstrong won't score many as one either.
The way we play it is. I agree in general but we have little clue how to do it properly and pretty much never win when we try it.
That's fair enough, but that to me suggests it's in the execution of the formation and not the formation itself. And you would hope the more we play that formation the more likely we will have success with it. I still think 442 suits us better but every team needs an alternative. Not a bad shout, and i think 3 at the back will become increasingly popular next season following Chelsea's success. Janko amd yids could be ideal ful backs/ wing backs also. I just disagree with the notion that hecky is being negative just because he alters the formation. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
I'd probably agree again and we have very limited options upfront given that playing Armstrong is pointless.
Moaning again are you? Why don't you man up, look in the mirror, get a backbone and get off Hecky and Cryne's backs. This has been the best season in living memory. Posts like this boil my piss/grind me gears.
Cardiff were absolutely woeful and came for a draw and our negative tactics handed them that draw when they were there for the taking. It's possible poor and indefensible. Rob Lee, hedges, kent and hammill all available yesterday but our strongest striker is put on the wing leaving a hard-working but lightweight Bradshaw up front on his own against a big man who ate him for breakfast. And where the **** has Ryan Williams disappeared to?
It is for exactly the reasons that you give that I won't make a sensible comment about your post, given that it was discussed at great length after the Wednesday game. i unwisely thought that starting a new thread was to raise a new subject, not just bleat about the same stuff.
The sooner Hecky realises that folk on here have forgotten more about football than he'll ever know the better.
