I originally had him in the release list because he hasn't done anything at all yet but then i realised his age so changed him but forgot to remove his name from the release list.

 

Out of the one's you have down with releasing i would possibly keep kpekawa to see what he is like after a full preseason and see if he fits in with the squad that we end up with. Dont disagree with the rest though

 

Can't disagree with a lot of that. Think a bit harsh on Adam Jackson.... Not had loads of time on the pitch. Made a couple of mistakes but also thought there were some positives... Not worth writing off just yet.

Keep Adam, cos he's reight good at darts.

 

Agree with most of that except would def give Jacob Brown a chance. Looked mint in some games at U23s. Hope to see him instead of Armstrong rest of season. Would hope to sign Gethin Jones on a freebie (nominal). He's only 21/22 so with a full preseason he hopefully can get even better than he's shown in games like Leeds. Kpekwa no idea. Whatever Hecky reckons. Really confused as to what position he is here to play or if he's better than he's shown. Adam Jackson hasn't had the run of games due to form of Angus and Roberts so would keep him rather than look for another 3rd choice CB.

 

I'd keep virtually everyone in the first team squad mainly because they all have room for improvement apart from probably Hammill who's reached his peak.

The big question marks are over White & Williams which I'd be relying on the physics for their verdicts as it all depends on how often we'll get to see them.

Davies, Townsend & young Walton for goalies

Jones & Yiadom for right back

Roberts, MacDonald, Jackson & Kpekawa for centre back.

Possibly White for left back so at least 1 new signing if not 2 there.

Centre Mid - Scowen, Moncur, Mowatt, Sessi, Kay plus one more

Wide / attacking mids - Hammill, Williams, Hedges, Janko (if affordable) plus another winger

Strikers - Bradshaw, Watkins plus 2 more first teamers & young Brown for back up.

Although I fully expect Scowen & Watkins to leave & possibly Roberts too so we'd need replacements for them too.

This would mean Kent, Elder & Armstrong returning to their parent clubs along with James who I'd love to keep but we can't afford.

Then Nyatanga, Cowgill, Payne, Kayden Jackson, Tuton & Lee would all be released / sold.

 

Scowen and Watkins won't be here. They want out. Chasing the big wages.
Will be the boards fault again.
Bringing threads back like Conan and Nudger.

 

Well Conan will be glad to see the back of Scowen as he thinks he has 2/10 for ability.

But there are 3 red lines:

1) we don't sell players when we are in a promotion/relegation fight

2) we don't sell, or do our best not to sell, to the Leeds or Sheffield clubs

3) when we sell we get a good price that benefits both the club and player i.e. We don't move them on at a bargain basement price

 

I would get shut of Townsend. Can't see him being good enough if Davies got any sort of injury.

White I love as a player unfortunately he's rarely fit. Ditto for Williams.

Scowen, Watkins and probably 1 of Yiadom or Roberts will go.

Payne looks to have been a failed experiment but who knows. I'd definitely keep Brown he's a talented lad.

Of the loanees. Jones seems the only one we can realistically sign and he could develop into a good player. Janko and James will both be out of budget I would imagine.

A big rebuilding job for us.

Our better players have seen the rewards on offer, we cannot match the wages some clubs in this league pay. It really is that simple, it some of you can't get it into your thick heads.
Can't keep players who don't want to play for us.
