Before he has a stinker tonight, might I just say that he is a player that we ought to secure if at all possible? He was doggo for a while at home until he settled in. Then he got the hang of it and looked classy. He's more than good enough for us. One of those already on the next level - if we want to go there.
He's not had the game time to date to look either "doggo" or "classy". No offence, but your post kind of epitomises the snap decision culture that is prevalent in football nowadays. I agree we should sign him by the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No offence either. But he did look doggo for a while. Then he looked classy. When he settled in. Some don't - they just don't. That was my "snap" decision on what was happening before my eyes. What it was not, was anything to do with culture these days. Anyway, he's had the game time now to look "classy" - he was motm last home game.
He hardly played before he was injured ... not heard 'doggo' before - has it just been introduced into UEFA coaching programs?
I like the look of Janko from the little I've seen of him but it seems strange that both he & Aidy White have done well when fit yet more people seem to want to keep Janko than White despite White been fit for more of the season
Aidy White has been injured all his career though. Great player but will probably retire before he's 30. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Though Janko has done really well to say he's hardly played. My mates a Celtic fan and couldn't stop laughing when we signed him! if we are going to have to continue to play Yiadom at left back then Janko at right back doesn't look the worst option to me
Jankos injury while he has been here is a completely unrelated injury to the one he had at Celtic. Up there he injured his ankle in training and was given bad treatment which prolonged the injury (they didn't operate for over two months). The injury he's had here is a separate thigh injury. The difference between him and white is that white keeps breaking down with the same weakness, janko just appears to be unlucky to have two completely different injuries in his career
I like White, I don't think he's a great player but he's certainly not a bad player. It's fitting him in that's the problem, he's definitely a wing back and not a full back. I thought he was brilliant at getting forward last season but this season he's been a little weak when getting back. As others have said it's the injuries that concern me, he's been injured at every club he's been at. He was highly rated at Leeds but they pulled the plug on him due to that knee problem.
Does he? White's issues been his hip this season hasn't it? He hasn't had that injury in the past I don't think
I thought Aidy White looked out of his depth when he came back in January time. That said he was certainly lacking match practice. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
