"Yeah, I did hear them [the Barnsley fans singing at him] and I was pleased to get the result. I think I did a good job for that club, I think that some of the money that they've earned from the players that I bought in have got them success. . The man's. Crazy
Read it earlier. The most deluded manager we've ever had. Be interesting to see if Bristol do as bad next year and if Lansdown sticks by him again.
I agree with you. However, the man you have total faith in appointed him and then refused to get rid of him.
Players plural but only Mawson came to us with LJ in charge and went for big money. Bree had been with us for years and Wilson was the manager when Hourihane and Winnall were signed.
They aren't going to get Tammy Abraham back on loan next season and without his goals they would have more than likely been relegated this season. With regards to Johnson' comments, I agree with you, he's the most deluded manager we've ever had.
Nine defeats on the bounce, losing at Altrincham, **** football and Conor Wilkinson. Aye, Johnno - you did a reight job. Con man.
Torn on this one. He was bloody awful, then stopped messing about and went 4-4-2 and we won 7 games on the bounce, with a momentum that Hecky inherited and that took us to two Wembley wins & promotion. We might well have achieved those highs anyway had LJ stayed - who knows??
What did you expect him to say? I did terrible I had a great team for league 1 but went on a massive losing streak and didn't think conor could play in a 2 man midfield? No he will focus on the positives we did sign some good players under him Mawson, Watkins, roberts not sure he can take all the credit when we have a system that picks out players for head coaches. I heard from a very good source he told james bree he wouldn't make it and brought reece wabara in to replace him the only positives on the playing side was he got us to the jpt which was a enjoyable day out should have been sacked by then though. Similar to Wilson 2nd spell brought a few good players in plenty of **** ones and results weren't good enough. Don't know why people are so bothered about him I couldn't care less what he says or does.
I despise that bloke, and his actions on Saturday pushed him even further down in my estimation. He is a very lucky man to have survived two sackings in consecutive seasons, but he's got to do it all again next season, having narrowly averted a disaster of his own making. In his mind he's successful, and probably thinks he's won over the Bristol fans, but the ones I spoke to at the ground weren't fooled by him and wanted him out. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I don't think we would. I doubt he would have been able to resist tinkering with the formation. One of the biggest moans from the Bristol fans is his reluctance to play anything but 1 up front. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

He also said that Bristol City should have scored five or six on Saturday. Hmmm! Presumably we should have scored minus three, which would have helped their goal difference a bit.
And yet some people on other boards are suggesting him as one of their managers of the season!! Unbelievable Jeff Heres one comment... " Another (lesser) shout should go out to Lee Johnson. Only 35 and stepped up a class to a club in turmoil and steered them to Championship safety. "
I think while he always gives it the slimy 'look at how great I am' thing Whitey, we as fans will always have something to say about him.
