Tyrone, you are the least constructive person on here. You accept things as they are and don't want to see any progression or improvement. You are one of those boring martyrs who says things like "I don't care if we are in the NE Counties League - as long as we have a club".

No matter what SuperTyke or I suggest, whether it would cost £1 or £1m, your response would be "why don't you pay for it then?" - you claim to want the best for the club yet you are happy to see it stagnate. That's negative thinking to my mind.

Well said and a lot of the things are just little things that take no thinking. For example for a good month bird **** has been plastered all over the floor downstairs, especially by the breeze block post at the bottom of gangway 3. It's so bad all over that you cannot miss it so someone who works there will have seen it and left it. Maybe make the ground more bird proof so they can nest.

Seems weird that instead of welcoming customer experience and feedback people on here just say blah blah blah why don't you buy the club. I complained in Tesco's the other week about my 'new improved' Lasagne because it was vile. They didn't say lump it mate if you're not happy then buy the shop. They apologised and gave me a 20 quid voucher

The sort of defeatism of some of our fans. The nothing can get better brigade it just seems weird to me. Surely you are a football fan to dream the dreams.

As for progress, incremental or otherwise, it's difficult to see that at the minute. We end the season on the worst run of form in the league with a significantly weaker squad. Not sure that's progress myself.

We are not significantly. Weaker. We are mid table championship team who has given everyteam. On the division. A God run for there money

Comparing a football club to tesco is like comparing. A Mars bar to a car. And stating the tyre isn't tasty

Costs money to clean that bird **** up Tyrone. Are you going to foot the bill or are you expecting the owner to?

Comparing the way a business handles customer issues is of course blindingly obvious.

We have a much worse team than the one we got promoted with. Take the loans out. Take Watkins and Scowen out. That's who we are left with. Our form since January is not mid table we are rock bottom ( based on things that are inconvenient to you - results).

But you're we are going to make the play offs gubbins showed how little you know.

Anyhoo where's this pint you owe me. If you want to hold your hand up and say I was completely wrong on all and every level instead that'll do.

It is pure genius. I've generally blocked Tyrone as he is clearly mentally unstable but almost worth having to read his drivel again for gems like that.

    Significantly weaker squad? Yes

    Worst run of form? No.

Over how many games? Last 6 games, 17th in form table.

    Last 10, 21st

    Last 15, 21st

Last 20, 22nd (the only point it's ever bottom three)

Last 22 (second half of season), 20th

    But most importantly...

    45 games, 14th.

The second half of the season has been disappointing without doubt, but it's a myth that we have the worst form in the division.

Given we've had bugger all to play for, since pretty much the beginning of February, there's hardly been a lot of urgency. I'd suggest if we'd needed more points we would have found a win or two more. The effort has never gone down but subconsciously a few are bound to have eased off. Especially the ones on loan or looking for a summer move. I said it before - who'd want to do a zlatan and ruin their potential move?

The squad as it is would do ok in the championship next season. Don't get me wrong, relegation candidates, but no Rotherham. Nothing close to that.

We will though have to replace a few, and bring extra in. With decent recruitment - which for once we've got a few quid to spend on - there's nothing to suggest we can't have a good season again.

Would I take guaranteed safety quite early and mid table again? Damn right. You never know.

Do I want more? Yes. But I won't now or then criticise the club for its approach if we don't make the top half or whatever.

If we are stranded at the bottom come Christmas with no hope - then we might have cause to complain. But I can't see that being the case.

Then would you agree they are underperforming as the seats are covered in birdshit, the concourses are a mess, the signage is from 1995, the metalwork of the east stand is in danger of corroding, sections of the station are condemned for safety reasons and the place generally looks like a shithole?

If you would agree that they are underperforming would you not agree that the responsibility for that lies with their manager and in turn with the directors who n turn should answer to the owner?

A comparison between one service sector and another one. How could they possibly be similar.
